I want to wish a hearty Mazel Tov and In bocca al lupo to the fine candidates elected by the people of Vaughan. To those whose valiant efforts did not end in victory, thank you so much for being brave enough to put your names up for election and the scrutiny it brings.
Now, as before the election, I am excited to be an active part of our city. I look forward to continuing to work with our political and civil leaders to advocate for the Yonge Subway extension, to address constant traffic congestion and to improve regional planning for our aging population.
